The exceptions to this definition abound: shyness would prevent drawing near, inner beauty would be unseen, extreme danger could activate extreme fear, precluding approach, and the blind would not experience beauty via this definition. Still, speaking personally, I miss beauty that I have seen before and long to see again. I would approach this beauty despite peril. Truth -- I need such beauty in my life.
